I was once on a journey to find optimal health through food. The beginning of my quest for health (and the beginning of Devourly) began in my second to last year of college in 2013. My diet went through many stages, starting with Paleo, and in each step of my quest for the best foods, I felt like something was always missing. When I eventually adopted a fully plant-based lifestyle, it was in an attempt to make my human body operate as efficiently as possible. I dove deep into a vegan lifestyle and soon realized that being vegan wasn’t just beneficial to my personal health. Veganism can help us restore and maintain the health and safety of our planet. I now focus on creating easy, fun and delicious recipes that contribute to environmental sustainability.
