Superfood Oatmeal

Get ready to conquer your day like a superhero with this Superfood Oatmeal! Oats are one of the quickest and easiest things to make for breakfast, putting them high on my list of favorites for a busy day. Add a couple superfood powders and healthy toppings to boost their nutritional content, and these oats get a gold star.

Oats are extremely versatile and can be spruced up with so many different things. This recipe is just a spark to help ignite your own oatmeal creativity. Some of my favorite oatmeal additions are cacao nibs, goji berries, baobab powder, chia and hemp seeds, maqui or acai berry powder, fresh berries, bananas and almond butter – anything goes!

Superfood Oatmeal

  • 1/3 cup organic oats
  • 2/3 cup filtered water
  • 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 Tablespoon raw honey or real maple syrup
  • 1 tsp maqui or acai berry powder
  • 1 tsp baobab powder
  • 1 tsp cacao powder


  1. Add the water and oats to a small pot and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook until oats are thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently.
  2. Turn heat to low and add the frozen blue berries. Cook until berries are no longer frozen, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.
  3. Add the honey/maple syrup, maqui/acai berry powder, baobab powder and cacao powder and stir until well combined.

Like I previously mentioned, there are so many beneficial superfoods on the market that you can use to create your own superfood oat creation - don’t feel limited to the few I mentioned here!
