Chaga is special, because it helps to defend against oxidative damage and inflammation.
This Chocolate-Chaga Chia Pudding makes a great healthy & filling breakfast or dessert! It is slightly sweet, but if you’d like it to be sweeter, you can always drizzle your finished pudding in maple syrup or your favorite sweetener.
Chocolate Chaga Chia Pudding
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup chaga tea
- 2 dates soaked for 2 hours
- dash cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cacao powder
- Raspberries for topping
Combine chaga tea and dates in a blender (I use a Ninja) and blend until smooth.
Add chia seeds, almond milk, chaga tea-date mixture, cinnamon and cacao powder to a mason jar and screw lid on tight.
Shake until all ingredients are well combined. You may need to open the jar, scrape the sides and shake again to incorporate all of the ingredients.
Place in the fridge overnight.
Top with raspberries, or your favorite fruit, and enjoy!
