It’s a given that the holidays come with an over-the-top amount of sweet treats. If you are over feeling gluttonous during these festive weeks, but still want to enjoy the food frenzy that comes along with the holidays, then this healthy Avocado Chocolate Pudding is your new favorite dessert. This pudding is super healthy, so tasty and only takes 10 minutes to make!

This avocado pudding has only 5 ingredients and is loaded with healthy fats from avocado and cacao powder. Cacao powder, not cocoa powder, is the raw form of chocolate and is extremely high in antioxidants. The raw honey in this pudding also provides tons of antioxidants, as well as amino acids and b-vitamins. Boost the flavor, and the nutrients, by adding toppings like chia, fresh berries, coconut, nuts or dried goji berries!

Chocolate Avocado Pudding

Ingredients

• 2 small-medium avocados
• 1 cup almond milk
• 1/3 cup honey (use more depending on how sweet you’d like it)
• 1/2 cup cacao powder
• Dash of salt
• Your favorite toppings

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients together in food processor. Add more honey or maple syrup if needed.
2. Divide into 2 bowls and chill until ready to eat.
3. Top with your favorite toppings. I love using chia seed, hemp seed and berries! The Ancient Grains mix from Trader Joe's also makes a wonderful, crust-like topping.
